Candy Dish Directions

Step 1

Gather your glass candy dish and candlestick and clean them well with rubbing alcohol or glass cleaner.

Step 2

In a cup, mix some Mod Podge and fine red glitter. Stir it well and begin painting the mixture on the inside of the glass dish and the underside off the candlestick. Allow it to dry between coats. (I did two coats). It will take time but it will dry clear.

Step 3

Follow up with a coat or two of Mod Podge and coarse glitter. Then, seal it all with a final coat of Mod Podge.

Step 4

Use sandpaper to rough up the glass on the bottom of the star candy dish and the top of the cande holder.

Step 5

This is finally how to make a candy dish. You add glue to the bottom of the star dish and the top of the candlestick and put them together. Make sure they are centered!
