I have been wanting to make some sphere charms and pendants for such a long time, but the molds I had found were quite expensive…in excess of $30.00 and I just couldn’t justify it.  I finally found some that were much more affordable, so I bought them and I made some.  In the video, you will see that I had tried two different ones, but only the shell one really turned out and is the one I will be describing here.

You will need:
Sphere mold (larger):  http://amzn.to/2bthYaG
Sphere mold (smaller):  http://amzn.to/2bDZpiE
Small shells:  http://amzn.to/2bDZfI9
(FYI: I think I found the colorful ones at the craft store.)
Dremel tool:  http://amzn.to/2bO5a0r

Here is the video tutorial:

Directions:
1.  Mix your resin, according to the package directions.
2.  Fill the mold about 1/2 full with resin.
3.  Add small sea shells.
4.  Top off resin, as needed.
5.  Allow to cure a minimum of 12 hours before unmolding.
6.  Unmold sphere and drill a small hole into the top of the sphere.
7.  Cut eye pin to fit.
8.  Add glue, eye pin and bail cap.
9.  Allow to dry.

That’s it!  Now you can add a jump ring and a chain, or cord and you have an awesome necklace!

Thanks for stopping by!  Remember:  Life’s too short not to shimmer, so grab your glue gun and your glitter! ™

  1. Hello. What sizes are your sphere molds? The link provided requires the buyer to choose size(s). I really liked the sizes you had and would like to know which sizes they are.
