I found this cute mold with different bugs on it and decided I MUST have it!!

You will need:
–  Resin  – I use the Easy Cast Resin (it’s linked below and up in the Products I Use tab )
–  Nail polish – red and black
–  Silicone bug mold

Click on the picture to see where I bought mine for $5.99:

Bug and Butterfly Scalloped Silicone Baking Mold

–  Opaque red dye for resin
–  Opaque black dye for resin

Here is the video tutorial:

Directions:
1.  Use your nail polish to either color in the black or the red parts of the ladybugs.  Don’t do both.  Allow to dry.  This may take two to three coats.
2.  Prepare your resin and mix in the dye.  If  you painted the mold with red nail polish, mix the black dye in the resin.  If you painted the mold with the black, mix the red into the resin.
3.  Pour into the mold.
4. Allow to set for at least 12 hours.
5.  Unmold.
Now you have these fun critters, which are prefect for decorating your home for Spring!  Don’t worry, I will make the other bugs too and I have and idea for them all, so stay tuned!
Thanks for stopping by and Happy Crafting!
I’ve linked the products I used to the store above and below.  The mold is not exactly the same as mine, but it looks pretty darn close!
