Cat Silhouette Coaster ~ Halloween DIY ~ Another Coaster Friday ~ Craft Klatch

Make a Halloween cat silhouette coaster, using your Cricut and resin!  It’s a great DIY!

Here is a quick video tutorial, so you can see exactly how I made it!

Here is what I used:
You will need:
Coaster mold:  http://amzn.to/2wCCw9A
Cricut (Amazon):  http://amzn.to/2wChE2l
Cricut vinyls:  http://amzn.to/2w4DOJj
Cricut gold vinyl:  http://amzn.to/2xMKiyd
PearlEx pigment powder:  http://amzn.to/2xqAsFL

Directions:
1.  Mix one ounce of resin, according to the package directions.

2.  Mix in some pigment powder.  I used a beautiful purple.

3.  Pour it all into your coaster mold.

4.  Use a lighter to pop the bubbles and let it cure a minimum of 12 hours.

5.  I used Cricut Design Space to size the cat silhouette image.

6.  I then used my Cricut to cut image from vinyl.

7.  Peel off the excess vinyl.

8.  Then peel off the cat image.

9.  Stick the image onto the coaster.

10.  I also added a circle I cut out of gold glitter vinyl, for a moon.

11.  I then added one ounce of resin, to over it all.  This is really an optional step.  The vinyl holds up fine, without the final layer of resin, so it’s up to you.

12.  Pop the bubbles with a lighter and let it cure a minimum of 12 hours.

13.  Remove from mold and you have a super cute coaster!

That’s it!  I hope you like it!  Remember:  Life’s too short not to shimmer, so grab your glue gun and your glitter!™  Stay safe!

Thanks for stopping by!
