Halloween is tomorrow.  There is still time to make this cute bat necklace!

You will need:
–  Silicone bat mold – I found mine at Walmart
–  Red acrylic paint
–  Black glitter
–  Resin (I used Easy Cast, but Envirotex Lite will work just as well.  You can find more info about them at www.eti-usa.com and you can also find where it is sold internationally).
–  Eye screws
–  Drill or rotary tool
–  Ribbon

Here is the video tutorial:

Here are some of the items I used, available through Amazon:

Directions:
1.   Paint the eyes and mouth of the bat, with red acrylic paint.  Allow to dry.
2.  Prepare your resin, according to the package directions.
3.  Mix in black glitter.
4.  Pour into mold.  Remove bubbles as necessary, with a lighter or a straw.
5.  Allow to cure – a minimum of 12 hours.
6.  Unmold and drill two small holes into the top of the wings.
7.  Insert eye screw.
8.  Tie on ribbons.

That’s it!  Now you have a cute necklace.  Perfect for party favors!

Thanks for stopping by!  Happy Crafting and Happy Halloween!
