How to Make a Cat Pumpkin Face in 5 Easy Steps

Step 1: Paint the Pumpkin Base

Paint the entire pumpkin black, using two coats for a rich, even color. Let it dry completely.

Cut two black craft foam triangles for ears and a tail. Paint pink inside the ears for accents, then glue the ears to the top and the tail to the back.
Step 3: Paint the Cat Pumpkin Face Details

Paint large white ovals for the eyes, a pink nose, and a small black mouth. Fill the irises with green paint for a striking look.
Step 4: Create Whiskers for the Cat Pumpkin Face

Cut thin strips from white craft foam for whiskers and glue them near the nose to finish the cat pumpkin face.
Step 5: Add Sparkle to the Cat Pumpkin Painted Project

Brush white glue onto the ear edges, eyebrows, around the eyes, and on tail stripes. Sprinkle with black glitter for a shimmering finish.

Cute! I do love pumpkin crafts, fall is my favorite time of year!
I'm sitting here with my 2 year old jumping around to different link parties and as soon as I got to the Craft-o-Matic party she saw this pumpkin and said "It's a kitty mama"! It looks like we'll be doing this craft once we get our pumpkins. She is going to love it! Thanks for sharing! -Leah, Mamaknowsnest.com
Thanks Leah! I'm glad you and your daughter liked it! It'll be fun for her to help paint!
