DIY: Paper Mart Washi Tape Fourth of July Decorations!

Create festive Fourth of July decorations using washi tape from Paper Mart! Easy and fun crafts!

Be sure to visit Paper Mart for their large washi tape selection and great wrapping paper, ribbons, boxes, etc!  I also used inexpensive items from the dollar store to create a votive and silverware holders that will make your buffet table more patriotic!  I used a dollar store frame as a place to mount a washi tape covered wood star.

You will need:
34400303 – Blue/white stars washi tape
34370402 – White/silver large dot metallic washi tape
341330 – Red/white zig zag washi tape
34400201 – Blue with silver star metallic washi tape
34310133 – Red ribbon washi tape

Here is the video tutorial:

Directions:
1.  I cut a wood star out of 1/4″ plywood, but you could find similar stars online, or at craft stores.

2.  I painted the star white, so the washi tape colors will not be distorted.

3.  Start adding the red, white and blue washi tapes.
4.  Keep adding until you cover the star.  You will need to cut and trim at the corners, so take your time and keep it neat!
5.  Now using a votive from the dollar store, I covered it with the washi tape as well.  The washi tape is on the outside, so you can still put a regular candle inside.
6.  Keep going…
7.  Using round vases, also from the dollar store, cover just the top portion of them with the washi tape.
8.  Just like that!
9.  I had a inexpensive frame from the dollar store and framed a piece of burlap.  Using mounting tape, I mounted the washi tape covered star onto the glass.
10.  Add a candle to the votive and silverware to the vases.

11.  Now you have the perfect decorations to help make your holiday tablescape something special!!
