Learn how to make a coaster using chia seeds. It gives it a fun textured look and it works great as a background! I added a heart, which is great for Valentine’s Day, a wedding, anniversary, or just because.

Here’s a quick video to show you exactly how I made it!

Directions:
1. I mixed two ounces of resin.

4. I poured the mixture into the coaster mold.

5. I used my lighter and popped the bubbles and allowed it to cure a minimum of 12 hours.

6. I mixed one more ounce of resin and poured it over the coaster.

7. I popped the bubbles with my lighter.

8. After 12 hours, I was able to remove it from the mold.

9. I cut a heart out glitter vinyl, with my Cricut.

10. I added it to the coaster. This vinyl sticks well and will last a long time.

Here is is all finished. You can add another coat of resin, if you wanted to, but it’s not necessary.

That’s it! It gives it a fun textured look and is great by itself, or with a decal on it!
