I decided to try a little layering for this St. Patty’s Day Coaster.

You will need:

–  Coaster mold (I have it linked below and in the Products I Use above)
–  Gold coins, buttons, stickers (all from Hobby Lobby)
–  Resin – I used Easy Cast (also linked below and in the Products I Use above – if you are looking for it internationally, go to the manufacturers website at www.eti-usa.com)
–  Green chunky glitter
–  Mold release (optional – the mold works perfectly without it, but it does seem to make your mold last longer)

Here is the video tutorial:

Directions:
1.  Prepare your resin according to the package directions.
2.  For the first pour you only need enough to cover the bottom.  Mix in your green glitter and pour into the mold.  Let it spread to the edges.  You can help it with your stir stick.
3.  Drop in your gold coins and your decorative buttons.
4.  Let it cure.  I let it cure for 12 hours, but you don’t necessarily need to wait that long.
5.  Prepare more resin.  Pour over the coins and buttons, to make sure everything is covered and you have a level surface.
6.  Allow to cure for at least 12 hours.
7.  Apply your stickers.
8.  Prepare more resin – you only need enough to give it a thin layer to protect the stickers.
9.  Allow to cure for at least 12 hours before unmolding.
That’s it!!
Thanks for stopping by and Happy Crafting!
